Procrastination

HAPPY MONDAY, EVERYONE. It's a pretty gloom n' doom day. The weather is gloomy and I'm doomed. I have a ten page paper due tomorrow that I have not yet started. However, I at least have the information from all my sources. So, it should (hopefully) be easy peezy. But then again... Technically I did have all weekend to do it, but I filled one of my last weekends in Juneau with other things. And, I work better under pressure. Here's a pretty quick recap of my week(end):
Tuesday I had my final for my tango class. Oh gosh. It is mega awkward. I'll post a video of it so y'all can laugh at it. (My dance partner is pretty old, which is fine, but also, he has a weak frame, making following incredibly difficult.)
Wednesday I went out to Eagle Beach to take advantage of the sunny weather and 500 mph winds. Thursday, I am quite certain that I had the flu due to the fact that I was puking all morning, was freezing all day, and mega achy bones. Friday was mostly recovering from that while Saturday I hiked Thunder Mountain, one of Juneau's gems. The weather was absolutely perfect. It was about 65 degrees and sunny. It's about 2,900 feet and I'm surprised I survived. I fell so many times. Seriously. I don't know why my friends offer to go hiking with me...  But it was worth. (I did get GP footage of it, but again, my computer has just been so slow that it's almost impossible to upload anything. However, I'll hopefully put all my footage together from this semester and make one giant video #summerproject) Later that night there was a bonfire with youth group out on the water and then Sunday was pretty relaxed. OH MY GOSH. AND I WENT ROLLERBLADING FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS YEAR. IT WAS MAGICAL. SO MAGICAL, THAT I EVEN WORE MY UNICORN SHIRT. I am looking forward to being back and having consistent weather that I can take advantage of and just 'blade.

The rest of my week is pretty low key. I just have that gosh darn paper to write and check people out of their rooms for the end of the semester. Oh yeah, I should also probably start packing and sending things home...But it's hard to have the motivation to do that when you don't want to leave. Like, ever. I've also have already had to say a few good byes, and man. It's rough. I can't imagine the ones I'll have to do this upcoming week and next week. Unless I postpone my ticket to stay longer than the 6th... GAH. I just don't know. I'll keep y'all updated with my jumbled up thoughts. But, I most go and start my day! Much love.
